MOAB Industries - Builds

Here at MOAB Industries we strive not only to be different, but distinctfully superior. We will not compromise a build with less quality or fewer options. Our builds are superior quality even at our entry level. Our technology and engineering represent a combined 40 years in the industry. MOAB Industries does not currently sell parts. There are too amy variables and potential for short comings. We believe that when the engineers are the technicians and visa versa, the vehicle stands a better chance of being built right. Our suspensions are installed by the very machinists that build and design various parts. They simply understand the geometry, function and importance of every part needed and installed on altered suspensions....Period.

As we do not sell parts, there is no motivation to compromise value on any components. There is no volume in building lifted vehicles as there is in the distribution of parts. Therefore, we don't save money by eliminating a weld here or there, saving on cheap bushings, buying smaller gauge (thinner) steel, disposable grade shocks and the list goes on. Instead we spend on the average 15% more on product costs. We spend no money on nationwide advertisement, everything done in-house, no shipping....etc. Things are done on a small scale. The retail dealer is our marketing effort. MOAB Industries completes only one Jeep per week at this time.

MOAB Coil Technlogy
MOAB offers "soft ride" coil technology standard on every build. When your customer drives of even rides in our Jeeps, they can tell the difference. The difference is distinct and not minor. The factory ride; as well as other aftermarket suspensions, have a larger, less coil count spring in the rear. The rear is what dictates the ride for the most part. The front springs will load very easy on any Jeep because of the motor weight.

MOAB Shock Absorbers
Closely connected with the coil springs, are the shock absorbers. It is common knowledge shocks work better inverted (up side down). However, they tend to wear at an accelerated rate and bend the piston. We spend additional money here. Our shock absorbers are engineered inverted with large diameter piston.... Supposedly lifetime service.

MOAB Dual Direction

A large common problem with aftermarket vehicles is front-end wobble. This is caused by increased tire size combined with pinion angle change. To remedy this we change the caster and do a toe-in alignment. For added security, as of October 2008, all MOAB's are equipped with dual direction front end stabilizers standard.

MOAB Color Coded Flares
There are some secrets we will not be disclosing, but our trademark difference is noticeable from a mile away. Every MOAB Jeep is equipped with color-coded flares (like the Sahara's) and color coordinated suspensions. Aside from the obvious enhancement, it makes it very easy to maintain your investment. Simply ask your service writer to have all the colored parts of the suspension tightened when in for a routine service...it's that easy.

As every standard build is so inclusive, MOAB Jeeps do not have many options. We offer only a few at this time. You can up-grade the tires to a directional more aggressive tread (opt 1 $287.00). You can order "rockcrawler" flares (opt 2 $1183.00). These two options are installed on my black 2008 unlimited MOAB.

Our reputation is built on word of mouth and our standard is quality. If you see a MOAB you will want a MOAB
